Deutnart 38mm Furniture Castors with Brakes - 8 Pcs
The Deutnart 38mm Furniture Castors with Brakes come in a set of 8 and are designed for heavy-duty use, supporting up to 400 kg. These swivel castors promise quiet and scratch-resistant movement, especially on hardwood floors. Overall, they seem like a solid option for those needing to mobilize furniture, but let's delve deeper.
These castors feature a 360° rotating ball bearing for smooth movement and a parking brake for stability. The wheels are made of galvanized steel and red polyurethane (PU), which should provide a good balance of load capacity and affordability. They are designed to work well on hard surfaces like tiles and wood, and claim to leave no marks on the floor, setting them apart from rubber castors.
In the box, you'll find 8 furniture castors, 32 screws, and 32 washers, providing everything needed for installation.
Customer feedback indicates that these castors generally perform well. The high positive review ratio suggests that most users are satisfied with their purchase. However, without specific competitor data, it's hard to say how they stack up in terms of customer sentiment.
Comparing the Deutnart castors to the DSL Heavy Duty Braked 50mm Swivel Castors, the Deutnart offers a slightly smaller wheel size (38mm vs. 50mm). However, the Deutnart set comes with 8 castors compared to DSL's set of 4. Both feature brakes and are designed for heavy-duty use. The DSL castors have received a comparable overall rating, indicating similar customer satisfaction.
When compared to the GBL Heavy Duty Castor Wheels, the Deutnart castors have a different wheel material (PU vs. rubber) and a higher load capacity per set (400kg vs 200kg). The GBL castors come in sets of 4, with options for either all brakes or a mix of braked and unbraked castors. Both brands aim for quiet and floor-friendly operation.
We would recommend the Deutnart 38mm Furniture Castors to anyone needing a set of robust, easy-to-install castors for moving heavy furniture. The brakes provide added safety, and the PU wheels should perform well on hard floors without causing damage.
